Account Setup
List
Accounts are Alias email accounts that need to be directed to more
then 1 POP account.
This
application is great for Companies where they have a single email
address, directed to multiple staff members.
An
example may be:-
Email:
info@mycompany.com
Whenever anybody emails to this address you need it routed to 5
staff members.
This
can easily be setup through the EMAIL MANAGER.
- Log
onto the Hosting Control Manager
- Choose
EMAIL MANAGER from the navigation menu on the left
- Choose
EMAIL LIST ACCOUNTS
- Create
the alias account like you would any other alias setup. Choosing
the Domain to correspond with the email alias. Then choose up
to 10 recipients to receive any email sent to this address. You
can choose to send to any POP account on your server, as well
as to any external email address by selecting the radio button
by the option you are choosing. (Either LOCAL POP or OFFSITE EMAIL
ADDRESS)
- When
you are finished, click ADD EMAIL LIST ACCOUNTS
- When
you are finished, you will see the Email Address along with the
number of Email Accounts this address with forward to.
