Image
& Text Counters
This
application allows you to place counters within your website. Through
the Hosting Control Manager, you have the options to choose either
Text or Image counters.
SETTING
UP TEXT COUNTERS
- Log
onto your Hosting Control Manager
- Choose
Applications from the left navigation menu
- Click
on COUNTER TEXT & IMAGE
- For
TEXT counters, you will need to refer to the SETUP TEXT
COUNTER dialog box
- Choose
the Font Type, Font Color, Font Size, as well as the starting
number you wish to have the Counter start at. Give the counter
a name.
- Click

SETTING
UP IMAGE COUNTERS
- Log
onto your Hosting Control Manager
- Choose
Applications from the left navigation menu
- Click
on COUNTER TEXT & IMAGE
- For
TEXT counters, you will need to refer to the SETUP IMAGE
COUNTER dialog box
- Choose
the Counter Style (from the images displayed below). Choose the
number you wish the counter to start from as well as giving the
counter a name.
- Click
CREATE
IMPLEMENTING
COUNTERS
- Refer
to the CURRENT COUNTERS SETUP dialog box
- Beside
each counter setup you will see SHOW CODE links
- Click
on SHOW CODE of the counter you wish to setup
- Copy
the code into your web page. Upload your web page to your Hosting
server.
EDITING
/ DELETING COUNTERS
- Refer
to the CURRENT COUNTERS SETUP dialog box
- Beside
each counter setup you will see EDIT and DELETE
links
- Click
on appropriate URL link of the counter you wish to modify
- If
your are EDITING, make your required changes, then click
MODIFY.
- If
you are DELETING, click on DELETE. You will be prompted
to confirm. Are you sure you want to delete the counter
"counter"? Choose
YES, if you wish to permanently delete the counter.
