Countdown
to Event
This
script is a great method for counting down a special event. It can
be used to countdown the days or months prior to a special event,
or release of a new website design or product release.
CREATING
COUNTDOWN CODE
- Log
onto your Hosting Control Panel
- Click
on APPLICATIONS from the left navigation menu
- Choose
COUNTDOWN TO EVENT
- The
SETUP COUNTDOWN dialog box allows you to choose Font, Color,
Font Size, Enter the countdown date and give the event a name.
Choose Setup after entering your data.
- Once
you have SETUP the script, you will see it displayed in the CURRENT
COUNTDOWNS SETUP dialog box
IMPLEMENTING
COUNTDOWN CODE
- Click on
the SHOW CODE link
- Copy the
HTML code
- Paste the
code into your webpage. Upload your webpage to your Hosting server
EDITING
COUNTDOWN CODE
- Choose the
EDIT link a
- Make any
modifications to your script.
- Click MODIFY
DELETE
COUNTDOWN CODE
- Choose
DELETE beside the script you wish to remove
- You
will be prompted "Are you sure you want to delete the
countdown "name-of-script"?
- Choose
YES if you wish to permanently delete the script
